PERFORMANCES SCHEDULED IN THE COMING MONTHS:

COMING PERFORMANCES:

Saturday, April 27, 2013, from 7 pm
The Privincetown Fringe Festival in Asbury Park – An Evening of Entertainment Extravaganza
Benefit for homeless cats living on our beaches.
LOCATION:  The Crane House, ____ Fourth Avenue, Asbury Park, NJ

Sunday, April 28, 2013, from 1-5 pm (I’ll probably be on first).
Benefit NJ Friends of Clearwater.

LOCATION
:  Molly Maguires Black Point Inn,
132 East River Road (at Black Point Road), in Rumson, NJ, 732-530-2882.
The inn has been in this location since 1759 – that alone is worth the visit.  It’s still run by the founding family.
Our Circle of Song will open, represented by
Tommy & Abby Anton, Jim Crawford, Rich Deans, Spook Handy, Ingrid Heldt, Dale Lakata, Isis Ra & Linda Phillips and Rosemary Wright.
We’ll be followed by O’Neill & Martin, JT & Bleeders, The Wag with Don Lee, Joshua Van Ness, Gary Wright and Poppa John Bug. I can’t wait! I love to hear our Circle performers, and I rarely have a chance to hear the performers on the other stages of our Annual Festival.

Sunday, May 5, 2013, from 1:30-3:30 pm
NJ Friends of Clearwater Circle of Song (see Circle of Song page for more info)
Cosby Gibson,
a singer-songwriter from Beacon, NY, who recently opened for Pete Seeger, will be our Featured Leader-Performer.

LOCATION:  Turnstile Coffee Bar (see photos of this beautiful place on the “Circle” page)
1607 Highway 71, Belmar, NJ 07719 (pls. find directions also at the bottom of the “Circle” page).

We are still passing a hat.  The suggested donation between $3 and $7 is still split between NJ Friends of Clearwater and Pastor Sony’s work with the homeless and the hungry in Asbury Park.

Our format is much like the Circle of Song Stage at the Festival:  We have a Featured Leader-Performers each month.  Isis Ra and I also participate, and so can YOU.  There will be plenty of opportunity for audience members to do a song or to sing along.  PLEASE COME AND BRING YOUR INSTRUMENT.  Or just come to listen.

Sunday, June 2, 2013, from 1:30-3:30 pm
NJ Friends of Clearwater Circle of Song (see Circle of Song page for more info)
James Durst,
a Folk Music legend and founder of Work of the Weavers, a Weavers tribute band, will be our Featured Leader-Performer.
