Smiles

Time will tell:  Are we right?
Time will tell:  Are we wrong?
Time will tell:  Are we weak?
Time will tell:  Are we strong?

Right now we can tell:
Smiles make things well and
Right now we can say:
Smiles are easy – to give away.

We’re just specks in time.
Some of us stumble, some of us climb,

Some are sick, some are well.
We all live – with ourselves.
It’s easier to smile than frown,
To lift up – not to put down.

While the world keeps turning
’Round and ‘round and ‘round.

Time will tell:  Are we good?
Time will tell:  Are we bad?
Time will tell:  Are we happy?
Time will tell:  Are we sad?

Right now we can say:
Smiles brighten up our day and
Right now we find
Smiles reach across all borderlines.

We’re just specks in time.
Some of us stumble, some of us climb,

Some are sick, some are well.
We all live - with ourselves.
It’s easier to smile than frown,
To lift up – not to put down.

While the world keeps turning
’Round and ‘round and ‘round.

Whether we are right or wrong,
Whether we are weak or strong,
Good or bad, happy or sad,
One thing we’ve known all along:

Right now we choose each day
Smiles give love away, and
Right now we know somehow
Love is needed – now.

We’re just specks in time.
Some of us stumble, some of us climb,

Some are sick, some are well.
We all live - with ourselves.
It’s easier to smile than frown,
To lift up – not to put down.

While the world keeps turning
’Round and ‘round and ‘round.

And smiles can turn the world we live in
’Round and ‘round and ‘round.
