The Morning After

A stormy night, a tattered morning,
We wake up to a narrower shore.
Somehow protected from the raging sea,
We've come to the sea – to see –

The morning after, the storms are gone.
The morning after, our lives have been redrawn.
The morning after we’re walking in the dew.
The morning after everything is new.

Orange clouds on the horizon
Draw the dark to the sun.
I see reflections, I see myself.
I see light all around.

The morning after, the storms are gone.
The morning after, our lives have been redrawn.
The morning after we’re walking in the dew.
The morning after everything is new.

Look at the wonder.  Don't think about the night.
Look at the miracles as we walk in the light – walk in the light.

The morning after, the storms are gone.
The morning after, our lives have been redrawn.
The morning after we’re walking in the dew.
The morning after everything is new.

The morning after everything is new.
