As the Crow Flies

Crow fly, into the morning light,
Straight and true, till you’re out of sight.
Crow fly, out of the darkest night.
I wish I could fly as the crow flies.

Last night my dreams, they were sad and stark,
An endless maze, running in the dark.
When I awoke with a beating heart
I wished I could fly as the crow flies.

Crow fly, into the morning light,
Straight and true, till you’re out of sight.
Crow fly, out of the darkest night.
I wish I could fly as the crow flies.

All those twisted roads, without a single sign,
The relentless sea, and the sands of time.
There’s a narrow path, but it’s so hard to find.
I wish I could fly as the crow flies.

Crow fly, down the railroad track,
Along the borderline, never looking back.
Crow fly, into the rising sun.
I wish I could fly as the crow flies.

I wish I could fly as the crow flies.
